The anonymous likers

As Butch said to Sundance- “Who are those guys?”.
It’s probably been prevalent for some time though it’s just came to my notice about the different avatars displayed in the “bloggers like this” category on a lot of posts. One or two seem to be appearing at regular intervals. These “stRangers” hit the like button without commenting. Do they read the posts? Are they shy? Are they real? Who are those guys?

Do you think the tags and categories help folk just browsing to find particular posts?

    Perhaps they’re just shy.

No anonymous likers were injured during the process and completion of this blog. In fact, none of them turned up. Wish I’d put some nice flowers (any kind of flower: a flower is a flower is a flower) into the post to entice the retiring types out of their shell.

    Hi OZ,

An astonishing 19 bloggers liked your post. I can’t recall any other post garnering that much. The 19, though, are all or were authors on this site; a lot of sadly missed people on the thread. The point I was getting at on this blog was the anonymous likers or as Sipu put it better “Alien” likers that have sprung up on The Chariot. I have no idea their motivations for hitting the like button. So this is a slightly modified version of your brilliantly liked original posting.
