Sheona if you haven’t been to Bayham Abbey it is wonderful. Very small but it just radiates peace and calmness.
Lovely pictures.
Another one to add to my list. Thanks Rick.
I’ve just Googled Bayham Hall. Lovely looking house.
Where is it?
if you ever get to Wales, the ruined abbey of Strata Florida is the same. Upper Cardiganshire.
Hi Christina it is here http://www.english-heritage.org.uk/daysout/properties/bayham-old-abbey/ Kent Sussex Border, not far from Lamberhurst and Scotney Castle.
Up on the hill is the new Bayham Abbey now occupied by some superstar, I think it is Roger Daltrey of the Who. All these signs up keep out, private no photos etc.
